Well, almost, more than good enough unless you're looking extremely closely.

2003 D2 FL S8. Irish Green Pearl/Beige. Solar sunroof, auto-dim mirrors, electric rear seat functions and extended leather. Ski hatch retrofit. Aftermarket reversing camera. DVB-T and XCarlink now removed as redundant.
2016 Volvo V40 T5 Cross Country (4WD) with ALL the toys including adaptive cruise etc. etc. Osmium Grey with Blonde/Charcoal leather interior. Polestar performance "optimisation". (Even rarer than a D2 S8!) Oh, and a brand new engine at just under 30,000 miles on the factory one!
Finally: gone, but not forgotten.....
1998 D2 PF S8. Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors.
e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. (internal dimming mirror added later)
1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer.
And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

wow thanks for all these replies.

I've been doing some digging and a VW sharan pdc button looks like it might fit the hole and it even has the led's which should light up..

But i think notorious has the best solution, it's the most 'Audi' solution parts wise, and I'll think I'll go with that, I just have to find a connector to adapt.

Do you have cup holding needs which are not met by the one in the centre console?

I have to agree with Paul that the A6 one is not the most stable solution and does tend to wobble about rather alarmingly with a heavy beverage in it. The stock D2 one is much more solid, plus it as a lower centre of gravity

I agree, I'm doing it more for to get rid of the blanks than anything else.. I was thinking of the rear blind and rear door blinds but its useless with limo tint I'm planning on

I agree with you about wanting to keep the OEM look but the one in the dash is a terrible idea!

Have you seen how crazy Americans must have huge drinks!?!

The stock D2 cup holder can only hold a can of soda. I usually buy 20 oz bottle of soda or bottle of water and those don't fit in the cup holder
