No, general consensus was that they were the right ones and have been the part of use for suspension refresh. It is only MJ noting the offset in this thread that has challenged that.

The part numbers I gleaned were from this post (so apologies to MJ)

Yes, they were correct based on what we knew at the time. I've only discovered the offset on this car, and that was only because I assembled it all on the floor so had clear visibility of it and was able to get a direct comparison of the various bits.

We're probably going to find more like this as we need to find alternative sources for things. At least they aren't expensive

I got the strut back this afternoon with a tiny bead of weld on the formerly-smushed edge

A quick dress with the grinder and the bolt fits perfectly again

Mounted on the car again

I put a bunch more stuff back in but forgot to take any pictures. Hopefully brakes and front panel back on tomorrow and then I can fire it up

Pretty caliper

New splash plates and bolts. The D2 bolts are NLA, but later models use an identical bolt with a slightly different number, because of course they do N90598804 for future reference.

Febi brake disk and hose, TRW pads, Apec fitting kit

New hose and clips obviously

This would have gone a lot better if I remembered to bring the other caliper from home Never mind - that can go on tomorrow.

Silly question, never used Febi brake discs on a car, how well do they fair? I'm looking for a set of discs and pads for a friend on his BMW (sorry) but Brembos which I usually fit on most cars are very expensive
