Hi all,
Ok so I took my car to my local garage to get them to look over it and in the way I noticed the rear caliper was sticking slightly so another thing to add to the list 🥺 but the really scary part was there is a slight rattle coming from the rear of the engine 🥺 I really hope this isn't the chains? Any ideas people? It hasn't been run for years so I'm going to be doing an engine flush and service so I'm hoping it may just be it needs new oil here's hoping 😐

Rear calipers are common so I wouldn't worry about that. You can rebuild them fairly easily or get them refurbed.
There's only one chain at the back, on bank1, and its extremely rare for the 32V to have chain problems - I've never heard of it tbh. Is it a regular ticking? If so, could be a sticky lifter. If its an irregular rattle then its likely some hardware loose - the downpipes have heat shields which are spot-welded on and which can come loose. The 32V is pretty bomb-proof so I wouldn't expect anything serious is going on. |

So I'm going to flush the engine and do a full service on the car. I did manage to get it up on a ramp at work today and have noticed I've got a rather large engine oil leak, and also what looks like a large gearbox leak as it's dripping all over the cats.
