Ah. Thats an A4/A6 kit, not an A8 kit so only three of the four arms on each corner will work. The upper front arm is unique on the A8 so you'll have to leave that one in.

Its not clear from the smorgasbord of pictures what hardware that kit actually comes with so you'll just have to see what works on the lower arm balljoints and maybe reuse the old nuts.

That's not good. I did ask about this kit

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/202737059...mis&media=COPY

But I was told by them it won't fit my car as I had the 16mm ball joints not the 20mm I even gave them my vin number so they told me I needed the one I sent previously do you think I have the wrong one then?

Neither of them will fit an A8.

Ok,
So after messaging them with my concerns it won't fit they have now said that due to the complexity of the data base they use they can't be sure it will lol.
So I'm going to send it back once it gets here for a refund.
So going to start looking for a kit that will actually fit my car lol 😂
Thanks guys would be lost in a minefield without you

Whats the point of even having it then?

This is the Meyle kit I use, which is correct apart from the nuts I mentioned earlier:

Meyle PF arm kit 1160500041/HD

These are the nuts - you need four.

Febi 15902 Collar nut

Meyle HD has a 4 year warranty so its pretty good value IMO. I've used loads of these - the oldest kit I've done is on my grey S8 at 7 years.

Yes my point exactly what's the point telling me that's the one I need if they don't even know themselves lol
Yes I'll have to get some more funds together and get the proper kit you've sent me.
I'll see what they send and see if it's all rubbish or I can make use of any of it when it turns up.
I'm going to do the rear seal on my gearbox as it's dripping oil on the cats and service the gearbox at the same time being I got to drain the box anyway lol.
Then the rocker gaskets, and service the engine get that out the way then move onto the suspension and other stuff lol.
I'll definitely have lots more questions so don't disappear lol.
