I think every active D2 member of the forums has signed up, so I'll email the 'lucky winners' on Thursday with details.

Last few days to sign up

Are there other Audi's with the same controls then, or is this unique to the D2? I reckon you could do some good business at the Vorsprung International meeting.

Thus far we've been mostly talking about the whole switch panel, but for those who are feeling slightly more adventurous (and want to save on postage) the switch itself is easily removed. Once the panel is out and unplugged, you'll see two little levers on the back of the switch. Pull these away from the edge of the switch while maintaining light pressure on the front of the switch and it will pop out of the panel

By the way, to unplug the connector I would recommend levering the two tangs off with a small flat screwdriver, rather than just pulling it. The connector tangs are rather stronger than the tabs holding the switch together, so pulling on it presents a significant chance of tearing the switch in half!
