Right, I have pulled out my maf and the part numbers is:

Bosch F00C 2G2 047

Dated and the manufacture date is 08.2001 - so its probably the original.

The bosch part number pops up for all sorts of cars, so its likely that its available for somthing else - weirdly it commonly comes up for 2.5TDI A8s, but not 4.2s.
