I use the one as a slap on the wrist in case I stray over 100mph
(I have obviously never done this but I am told its easily done in 4.2!  ) but to have this second one set by pressing a totally different button on the speedo cluster is ludicrous! Why the hell isnt it in the menu with the first speed set? ....Maybe so you can set it quickly when going though road works...?

Yes you can set 2 speeds. Instant setting is via the test button and sets the speed at whatever you are doing at that moment.
