Thats just what Steve thought. Isnt tho, as when u press that button, the fan noise comes from pass side scuttle, not centre.
The fan you can hear ide say is on very slow.

Steve asked, does anyone have a exploded view, of how to take this area apart. As he knows nothing about this car, or his way around this car.

We take it, a build up of rain water, stuck in scuttle has caused this over time, As tueday we had water coming out the back vents.

Right looked where you said Ian, Pulled the 40a fuse on left just under the relay that has 204 on it. Fan now stopped
Took pics, Can someone now tell me what this fuse does and where it goes.
or possible causes of fan been on. Not taking for granted that the relay above it is connected to same thing.
Rang Steve he said without looking, if relay above is connected to the fuse we should first change this. Anything else it could be as i want ro ring A8 parts to get things sent.

Thanks for the Help so far

Get Steve do it when he gets in.

He has been to Audi, got new relay. Fan still on tho, if fuse connected
ECU box is dry inside as Steve checked that also, as its in scuttle.
Just lucky no need for heater at mo, so theres a up side to it

Please see the attached pdf's. Had to split in 2 as in one file it is 196.3k and max allowed here is 195k for pdf's. If it does not work drop me PM with Your e-mail and I will send it to You.

Mike You can get anything that's on the screen by pressing "print screen" button, then paste into paint and save picture.

Or get CutePDF program(free) like me. That's a virtual printer which saves anything You can print to pdf files. Together with iCopy(also free) You can also scan straight to pdf.
