Check out nitedevil cameras - They see in near pitch black without the need for IR's.
Also, never, ever, ever, ever, not ever, (did I mention ever?) rely on wireless for your security... So easy to jam/fool/interfere.... Hardwire the ethernet if you're serious about security. Being able to watch in realtime someone nick your car isn't really that much use - you need a DVR to record the action to actually give to plod. DVR's have really come down in price now, and they all have web facilties, mobile phone clients etc. Its a nice toy for £40, but I wouldnt use it in anger for anything important....

 Yeh, the picture needs to be watermarked or something. Even the recording is no good sometimes. Ben and Staffordshire police have the whole process of my S8 being stolen on CCTV, haven't had the heart to view it. I just thought the cool/cheap ratio on this was spot on. I travel a lot and to be able to keep an eye on the RS 6 whilst on a flight over the USA is just COOL. Just got some new tall gates today, so I have a safe hiding space for my new toy. Can't wait to fit them next weekend.
