Mine are great. I mean, they save my life just about every time I get to a busy T junction
 devine-nathan. Have you perhaps been driving a D3 with ceramics?

This was a survey done by warranty direct, I've never heard about any real brake issues with the D2 apart from the odd sticky caliper, if they think the M3 suspension is bad, god knows what they make of the RS 6 and the Seat Alhambra is virtually the same as the Galaxy/Sharan is it not? Would be interesting to see how their air con stacks up in comparison.

Not driven ceramic D3.
im using the largest disc/pad combo the D3 offers below the S8 range. maybe its because im used to a car that weighs 1000kg with big ole Nissan Alloy 4 pots. they just dont feel like if i slammed my foot id come to a sudden stop.

I think some of you have got the wrong end of the stick. This survey is about the failure of the braking components, not the effectiveness of them when they are working.
