Almost tempoted to buy her back
Just found my old 8 for sale. Still looking good and quite a lot less than I sold her for. Those badges on the side of the front wings need to go

I never seen your old S in the flesh but from the photo's of it, i thought it was Murple.
This has made me start thinking about paint again. If you're going to say that it was Ming blue it would be the same Ming blue as the bonnet i put on recently (from an S) and it is different than the Ming blue of my A, very subtle but deffo different. I prefer the colour of the bonnet.

Yep Its Ming Blue. And stood next to my sons Ming Blue A4 it was almost the same, but not quite. I think the difference was that his blue had a metal flake and the S8 a pearlescent flake.
The Ming Blue comes over very Murple in some light. Lovely colour
