1TB SSD?.. You must have very deep pockets it probably costs more then all PC's together in my house. And only 4GB RAM, surely you could afford to put in more, I have 4GB in my main PC and I do run out of RAM every now and then. I did have 6GB and sold 2GB to make room for 8GB but prices have gone up at that time and I haven't managed to get another 4GB even so prices have come down again.
Reliability is problem with many new things. That's why you do not buy the latest that just came out but wait for at least half year for others to be guinea pigs and allow time for the manufactures to even out bumps and sort out firmware and check reviews before buying, not all are bad.
I do have 80GB Intel 1st gen ssd in PC, I bought it second hand on e-bay when 2nd generation came out and have been using it for over 1.5 years now without problems. It's only for Windows and frequently used programs rest is on hdd, I also do regular backpups of system and data that I would not like to loose on external hdd.
The plan is to move 80 GB ssd from PC to laptop and to get new bigger and faster one for PC.
