Hi.
From what i have found out after googling for hours is that they are supposed to be stiffer then the OEM's one and that i can like ![]() About pricing they are expensive online in europe. £120 and up a piece but in the US i have found all 4 for only $468 + shipping ($50-ish) Anyone ever tried these and can give som feedback? I would prefere rebound adjustable Koni's but from what i can see, the only way u get that is by buying a KW2 coilover kit..... I wanna keep the ride height cause its perfect( I keep telling my self) for the roads here that hasn't been refurbished since the second world war ![]() Any info on stiffer then OEM shocks would be very appreciated ![]() Thank you ![]()

Never experienced an S8 with B6 Billies, but have driven a PF 3,7 Quattro Sport with them. I installed the kit. A fair bit stiffer than the OEM set-up, and sharper turn in.
With such a long wheelbase, the ride was excellent, no harshness or choppy ride. I would imagine the S8 will be even better, as it has the extra weight to make the stiffer dampers work well.

I fitted B12's to my Track Golf with EIbach Pro Lines.
Superb bit of kit, pretty much identical in ride to a BMW M Sport or Audi S Line really as terms of quality. But handling is superb!!!! Really really impressed. |

Well... Finally got around to changing the rear shocks
![]() The old ones was pretty shot on both sides. The Bilstein B6 Sport are great. not to stiff, but as firm as required for the S8. I would absolutely recommend these ![]()

I see the B6 shocks for the rear, but not for the front. (Just the standard Bilstein ones, they have two models listed, none again are B6.)
Any photos of the front setup? Or a part number? |

Hi Adjuster, I recently bought 2 X B6's from Larkspeed in Leeds for £125 each. Took 3 days to deliver. Now waiting 17 days for Audi to provide new uprights so I can fit them and pass judgement. See my springs n things post.

So, the B6 is just for the rear shocks then?
I don't see them for the front, just two HD versions with different part numbers. It appears they also have a HD version for the rear shocks too. My 2001 S8 only has 75,000 miles on it, and rides pretty good, but I'm sure the ride quality of new shocks is better, I just do not have a frame of reference to go on with these 75K shocks still working, just not working as well as they should. I've used the 'mono' tube Bils' before, and was very impressed. Also Koni and Tokiko with good results on Supra's and other cars. The monotube shocks/struts worked the best however, and It's what I'd want to put on the S8 when I change these out. |

these are the part numbers I've been given by a Bilstein Distributor in the UK from the Bilstein catalogue, suitable for FL but not sure about PF.
