When I cleared mine first time it got blocked very soon again. Second time I cleaned and washed pipes thoroughly finishing with Dettol ant mould and mildew cleaner to kill any bacteria and fungus in there. Finally sprayed air intake with http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Comma-Air-...#ht_1528wt_905 to kill them in rest of a HVAC unit.It has been 2 years since that and no problems.

Guy, I had the same issues with my '98 S8. Took some time, but got sorted in the end. Where abouts are you?

Have you tried sunroof drains? the front ones are easy, the back ones I tackled from behind the trim in the boot.

Guy, stupid question, but have you tried this:

http://forums.quattroworld.com/a8/msgs/18945.phtml

I had water ingress problem in passenger footwell when I've just purchased the car. It was clogged rubber drain pipe which is easily accessible from the inside of wheel arch.

It can as well be gasket between electrical electrical box with all the control units and aluminium chasis of your car. Buy new gasket and change it preventively.

Here is example of what I'm talking about: http://www.passatworld.com/forums/68...en-filter.html

yea i did try both those ways i also used compressed air to blast the orange pipe inside the car in the trans tunnel, i have cleared the big one that had about 3 gallons of water in there that was just under the H vac blower motor in the engine bay, but i still have water in the passenger foot well and its driving me crazy now the wood under it that is a cover for the relay box is just sodden wet carpet is soaked and im fed up of drying it and then finding it the same again the following day,
i don't want it to play up with my electrics in that box
