Finding leak in air suspension

After some judicious use of jacking mode, kerb corners, various pieces of wood and some ingenuity, I finally managed to get the car raised with the system active to have a look.

The only place I can see bubbles coming from is the red circle - which I believe is the inlet valve? Anyone know how easy it would be to replace just the valve (assuming the part can be found)?

The question remains though about whether it is really a DIY job.

Maybe you can remove and refit yours with a new o-ring?
Looks just like it could be an o-ring or seal problem.
Maybe remove, clean and replace with Loctite pipe-seal would work?

Possibly - but does anyone know just how much dismantling is required - from the little I can see, it is either riveted / bolted on from inside. Does anyone know a) whether it can easily be removed / replaced and/or b) what type of fastener is used?

Problem is, it's the only car that I have available at the moment so if it has to go to the dealers, I'd need to drive it there and get the work done before driving home again. OR buy the replacement and do it myself, if reasonable.

Just had a look on ElsaWin, looks like it comes as a single piece from Audi. There's a few warnings about not releasing the residual pressure valve too (the bit just after the pipe goes in).

Not so good news

Damn - of course, if I could actually get the Bentley manual, which I've paid for, to work on an operating system from this century, I would maybe find info like that. Let this be a warning to anyone interested in the Bentley manual - unless you still use windows xp, forget it! (I am pretty pc literate, having built my own for the last 15 yrs but now consider it to be a complete waste of dosh). Rant over.

Then what you want is a copy of VMWare Workstation (or Player) and a Virtual Machine with XP on it (Or XP Mode in your Windows 7 install).

However.. I digress..
