well i will be on the case tomorrow and see what the crack is, only thing is i may have it for myself rather than for the company and that means trading in my beloved D2 at the peanut price they like to offer its sad but may at least bring the price down by a couple of grand

fairly minor issue for me but not sure I could live with that colour of wood, and on the wheel too just seems to make it even worse

i have to agree, the only factors putting me off are the wood and the colour of the car over all, yea i could respray it black as i have with my current D2, and i guess if i had a chat with A8 parts or some one maybe they could change the wood for me, i wander how difficult it is to change the trim, i rather like the dark wood inlay not sure if its oak or something, ? any idea's

Depends what you want really, but LWB cars really do eat the juice more.

well im getting 24mpg out of the 4.2 and i would guess the 6.0L would be around the 19-20mpg mark so with LWB is it more likely to be 18mpg ?

Expect around 16-17mpg on a W12 on average with an at best 20mpg on a run. The S8 V10 is on average 18-19mpg and 23mpg on a run.

I've had 27 from my V10 S8, on a run, on motorways.

But you don't buy these kind of motors to stress over the economy do you
