Bleeding the brakes is a doddle normal bleed nipple to play with, hand brake as you say, threaded bar twists and pushes the piston out. Easier job if you have a caliper rewind tool as you'll be working the mech quite a bit to free it up so it returns all the way i reckon, that said i did manage with a G-clamp and pipe grip
