Just to let you all know been out this morning and got a bonnet, well havnt actually got it as it wont fit in the car, but left a deposit and Jim will pick it up with his trailer on the way over next Sunday. Its a deep Purple (not as deep as Murple) with a few nice scratches so should be good to practice on

I would have if I hadn't have had Germany just recently and spent a huge sum of money on the car, also have an important presentation to complete and then possibly heading to A8 Parts open day too.

David, went for the purple as it was already removed from the car, took the easy approach

Its from a Vauxhall, think it might have been an Astra?

Might pop down to the local scrappy and see if I can pick up another panel or two as might not get much practice if we're all doing a single bonnet.
