Headrest drivers side (LHD) wonīt go down!
Hi Guys, is there anyone that can help me with this problem?... headrest is stuck in top position and will not go down... I can hear the motor running(both up and down) but its like its not grabbing hold of the headrest.
I have tried putting pressure on it while running the electric up and down but no luck. Do I need to take it apart? and if so, does anyone has some schematics of how this is done? Any help appriciated  /Jake

Thanks Dessey, I have tried this already(did it when I read your thread comment) but unfortunately this does not work on my headrest

Ah bugger. Then i'll shut up.
I do remember thinking at the time i didn't want to even attempt to try and get at it and just thought well it doesn't work now so i just went for it. What about running the motor to the top and pulling up on the head rest will that make a ratchet sound and fix it?

The solution!
Hi to everyone! this is my first post here!
Iīve had the same issue in my car, actually its a very common issue. I found the solution and itīs quite easy to fix it http://www.ltooz.com/ltooz/audis/a8-...own-fixed.html It took me about 20 minutes, it seems difficult but actually it isnīt. If you have any doubt....just ask! Regards
