Internal to the alarm horn unit iirc - Not easily replaceable as you have to start by breaking open the unit.....

Thanks for that. Looks like it requires investigation into the state of the batteries as, left to their own devices I guess they will render the alarm useless. It also might explain why there is no beep on locking /unlocking - or maybe that has been switched off.
Er, one problem, where IS the alarm module?

Alarm module is on the left hand side of the boot behind the carpet, in the wing space IIRC. Beeps weren't on by default for locking.
