There is definitely antiroll bars on D3 both front and rear. As for the condition of c-links in down to tester opinion, it's not black and white.

The bushes for the ARB are not available to purchase separately, you have to buy a complete ARB with new bushes attached

So do I still needing an ARB repair or not. MoT says ARB Bushes but the Tech yesterday said, yes, that's what we've fixed! Confused, moi, oui ![]() |

Those C Links are the ARB link joints or something similar and are a usual wear and tear item. 150 seems a decent price for swapping two as well, especially at a stealers.

The C-Links are bolted to the end of the ARB and therefore are part of the system, but they are not ARB bushes. Might be best to speak to the MOT tester to establish exactly what the advisory was for as there seems to be a lot of confusion

I'll see if I can talk to the MoT guy. Anyway the car is back to being smooth and feels taut over bad surfaces again, it really slammed and banged about over drains before. I still think they should have been changed out at MoT time but I was covered by their MoT guarantee "if it fails next test we will fix it up to £750" Maybe they erred to save themselves some money! I got that deal after the first test last year and again this time. I'm not bolshie enough with them..... ![]() |
