Yep - Wifes Focus (had 11 years) has 150K and still on the first clutch

Ive worked out that as I'm doing 3000 a year and youre doing 9000 a year you will catch me up in 5 years time Andy - and I'm on 130000 now!!

This thread has made me feel much better as mine has passed 91K now having racked up a vey quick 30k in the last 18months of me owning her.
I was considering swapping but she still drives like the day I bought her and frankly what car this comfortable and size can do a regular 36mpg ( 40+ on a run)
I love my 8
Would only swap for another if it has a B&O system
After all it would have to be an upgrade from the Bose and I have everything else I could want !

what do you mean not thrashed? Isn't that what the rev limiter is for?

I'm about to hit 200k in the next week or 2. Regulary thrashed because i never thought it would last this long an i didn't want it to go wrong before i'd had some fun in it.

I've either been lucky or the A8 is very much more reliable than everyone expects.
