Default speed camera and speed gun detectors

hi guys just wanted some info on this.

in america you can buy speed gun detectors, but i wanted to know do we have the same set up...?

meaning when they have there speed guns ready can we detec them? and same with speed cameras can we detec them?

i know you can use a gps devise for speed camera locations but what about, speed guns or speed set up cameras that have not been gps registered as yet?

also does anyone know of any detectors?

thanks in advance

Yes you can get detectors, but their use is limited. Basically, our forces use laser to detect your speed. That means, if the detector goes off then your speed will have already been recorded since the beam will be pointing directly at your car.

Neil had a detector in his A7; I got hit by one in my RS 6. Copper let me off, but boy was I lucky and did it take some grovelling. What you need is a laser jammer, I've been told that the radar cruise on my RS will block police speed laser guns, any truth to this guys?

I might know *a friend* ahem that has a device for sale that is a detector for laser and radar but it also includes a jammer that upon detecting said laser sends a jamming response back which makes the laser read with an error code. Whilst the user is resetting and re-calibrating it at you it sounds a warning in the cab which gives you vital seconds to brake hard and turn off the jammer

I'm pretty sure they always have been
I'll make sure I let my friend know. He did mention that if you had sensed a block signal then if it happened too many times then you may get a visit to "check your vehicle over" from the authorities

Blockers were always illegal as its perverting the course of justice, but detectors were acceptable until recent law changes about 2-3 yrs ago, from memory

this is how i look at it...

anything that PREVENTS me from wanting to speed is always a positive.

so if they want to take me to court for being extra causious then so be it, but would be real stupid if they did!!
