Changing to coil overs
Just wanted to add...if you have done suspension work before then this shouldnt be too bad....the only thing to really have to watch out for is the pinch bolts holding the upper arms in place. If this hasnt been touched before then be prepared for a fight....it really is a bugger when it seizes in place. With that in mind I would loosen the hub bolt that holds the outer cv joint in place with the hub. This way if by off chance you have to take the hub out for any reason then at least you dont have to get the car back on the ground to loosen it.
Also have a decent set of spring compressors for when you seperate the shock absorber from the upper subframe.
However, if this is your first time at any suspension work I would pay a garage to do it and just not go out for a weekend or two....sitting inside in the warm watching tv will be far more satisfying than doing this as a novice.
