I'll chip in.
Currently run a D2 and D3 4.2QS and for me, the D3 is the more comfortable cruiser - that 6th gear and the air suspension helps. The D2 feels more communicative on the road - makes you want to ring it's neck more  I'm lucky and get the best of both worlds
