The 20" rims have different hub carriers with larger hub bearings ergo the larger taper on the control arms.

I've just fitted a full set of cheep ebay arms £140 for 8, my second set since owning the car and i very much suspect the last set.
Car was also hit by a very naughty (I’ll smash into your boot and leave a very nasty dent) person, who I hope dies a very long, slow and painful death, just for pretending that they hadn’t actually done it.
