Hi
Don't get the ones I got (9 SMD chips per bulb) as occasionally when engine is off and lights on, 1 or 2 chips on one bulb only will flash occasionally when stationary. But as its only 1-2 chips from total of 18 chips so really not that visible. Also, I haven't fitted resistors yet to see if they will stop that. So, this is what I would buy now, very small chip but CREE chips are extremely bright. Good luck.
It looks a great project I would love to do, but I would need swap my PDC ECU and CAN Gateway for later ones, plus the additional stuff it would be quite expensive. May as well just hold onto the money to get a D4.5 in a few years.

Well spent the whole afternoon stripping, fitting, wiring etc etc.
Its was totally dark outside by the time I got the harness run in so had to call it quits for today, just the can wiring to splice in tomorrow and then I should (fingers crossed) have a reverse camera system working. My backside nearly let go this evening when I reconnected the battery and as I looked through the back window the cluster was all red with safe displayed where the mileage was. Ignition off and back on and it sorted itself out thank god.
