1 Fault Found:
01220 - Rear Side Airbag Igniter; Passenger Side (N202)
001 - Upper Limit Exceeded - MIL ON

PM me your address

Hope you enjoyed it

NOW, whoever can tell me how to sort that out (clearing the fault won't work) without chasing the wires as it can't be that serious, will receive a pair of brand new 501 T5W LEDs from MyLitCo like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A2-A3...item53f84ee600
...but without 4 side led chips

I'm pretty sure that means the controller has measured the resistance (part of normal checks) in that igniter and it's too high.
That could be due to a faulty igniter (in which case it needs replacing) but is more likely a wiring or connector fault.

Unlikely to get away without doing that.

Are all the bits for the side rear airbags under the rear seat??
How to get there, just pull the seat up??

Thank you HP

I've got 2 good news.
First one you just ''won'' yourself a pair of these (they are actually as per listing)
So PM me your address
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A2-A3...item53f84ee600

2. It was a connector under the rear seat. It wasn't placed where it should originally so when I was cleaning rear screen I went with my knee on the seat and loosen something. It was one of them (see attached)

A bonus good news is that I found the problem with heated rear seats not working, not connected at all !!!

Cheers HP, very much appreciated
I'm afraid of Airbags, big time

PM your address

A healthy respect for all things airbag and pyrotechnic in general is a good thing especially when inexperienced!

A safe approach when dealing with airbags is to disconnect the battery with ignition on and leave for 30 minutes before unplugging anything airbag related to allow stored charge to dissipate

When finished switch ignition on and reconnect battery - that way you're nowhere near a bag if you've ballsed something up and one goes pop!

Never store a removed airbag face down either - in theory should be in an explosives cabinet but just putting it face up and away from anything else is good enough for DIY
