I believe centre bore for D3 is the same as D2 57.1mm. Some newer models like A5 have 66.1mm so I would not be surprised if D4 is 66.1mm as well. But that's what spugot rings are for.

Get some spugot rings to take up the difference in the centre bore.

I can confirm that D4 wheels have centre bore of 66.6mm so you will need spigot rings to reduce diameter from 66.6mm to 57.1mm
Plenty available on e-bay. I would go for metal ones rather then plastic ones. I have 2 sets of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HAWKE-SPIG...item540338602d 1 on the S8 fitting Merc specification wheels and the other set waiting to go on A6 when I put A5 wheels on it for summer.
