Quick update.
So originally I fitted this type which is not good at all as they were flickering, quiet often I have to say.  I solved this problem by fitting 1x CREE LED ones http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123
