Anything considered really, as long as it's legal so it can be used as a spare wheel if required and it passes MOT

I don't have spare wheel in my D2 as I use larger tyre size that doesn't fit into spare wheel compartment. D2 passes MOT without any problem without spare wheel.

You don't have to have spare wheel for MOT but if you do it needs to be road legal.
I also have bigger tyres on S8 but have spare wheel that is smaller then standard. Surely it's better to have some sort of spare wheel even if it's different size then no spare wheel at all. The tyres on car are 255/45R19 and spare is 245/40R18 so quite a difference but at least it's something. I do plan to get bigger tyre but it will do for now.

What size do you have Sergey. I have 255/45R19 on the car and spare is 245/40R18. I have sourced 245/50R18 tyre to put on spare but I am afraid it will not fit in spare wheel well.
