Gear wheel replacement

Im going to tackle my droopy MMI screen soon! Where is best to get the gear wheels from? I remember someone mentioning a metal replacement so the issue doesnt re-occur in the future?

Also, is it possible to replace the grey trim around the outside of the screen, mines all scuffed from hitting the aluminium strip below the center as it rises - gonna annoy me!!

As for the scratched trim you could try some fine wire wool to rub out the scratches.

or do you mean the black plastic?
