I'm sure there was a thread about someone using an iPhone app to link to a remote Bluetooth obd 2 sender that was let plugged in - have you done a search on threads?

thanks chaps ; to be honest I didn't bother to search as have seen nothing here in the last couple of years and anything older than that is long out of date !
bear in mind that mobile phone manufactureres update their product every 90 days on average ...presumably apps follow a similar pattern
