Really?! Im quite happy sitting at that speed on long distance travel, just chilling out
 I think diesels sound crap standard, and like most cars 4 cyls always sound crap. My old V6 diesel merc sounded the **** with a 3'' straight pipe. Have you heard the 3.0 audi diesel? That sounds nuts with a system. Dont get me wrong petrol will always sound better, but i love the driveability of diesel - especially having 475ft lb at 1800rpm. Any gear just squeeze the throttle to overtake! its awesome. Id love the audi V12 tdi it would sit nicely in my 8!!! Im hoping with a remap to break into 4 secs 0-60 :P

Honestly get it remapped, it will blow you socks off. Just had my 4.2 TDI done and dpf's removed and it is a monster!!! 390bhp and 885nm of torque and can still give 40 mpg on a run. I used to be petrol V8 through and through but the V8 TDI is something special.

I have absolutely no idea what my fuel consumption is as in Dubai petrol is only 28p a litre. So, with fuel as cheap as that I really don't give a toss what it is.
