You said you have BD BB and E  Link above is a C which is fine, same as E L A CC (as mentioned above) Don't worry, you are almost there mate  All you need now is the correct part and you'll be laughing

Ok so the BD ..plugged in now displays as a C not a BD...
But it dose say BD top line and C bottom line ... just cant log in because I have to guess what car it is Yes sorry no idea where E came from I dont have that at all

Bottom number is the Software version NOT the part number, if you look middle 3 numbers are different, 910 instead of 614.

Your software should be 4E0 910 517 A (VAG Number)
If you go to advance ID you should get the part number (BD for example) which is 4E0 614 517 x or xx

Yes and indeed it had come up in advanced id as a BD unit
4E0 614 517 BD 4E0 910 517 C

Im struggling hear ...4 units later and im no closer to home ..
It let me log in under a LWB W12 .. re coded it and now its only taking coding .0007637 and thats a W12 .. if I try my lwb 4.2 i get an error message saying out of range
