It allowed me to log in as a W12 it then accepted coding for a W12 LWB .. and now stores the soft ware ..but still have lota of lights on the dash board

That could mean just that unit which you've installed is fully working, but not compatible ??? Unless needs adopting? test drive? or other bits adopting?
I'm not an expert, but in my opinion non of the above, it's just the wrong part number in my opinion.

From my experience I was able to code modules (coding accepted) even if coding was wrong for the spec of my car, but it wasn't functioning properly.

I agree ... back to hunting for a unit with E or CC then ..

Hope I can take the units back and swap getting a few hear now
