we've seen all this before on this forum with somebody attempting to justify onboard electrolysis to provide hydrogen. Unfortunately as HP and Ainar point out you need a lot of power in the first place and it doesnt meet the laws of physics as we know them.

Fiat Tipo diseasel econobox with all the buttons and none of the soul that now does all the heavy lifting. Ford Capri Laser: noisy, slow, thirsty, bouncy, no buttons but it always sounds like it’s REALLY trying and I can’t help but chuckle when it parps and boings along. And people of a certain age stare at it with a wistful look in their eyes that clearly says…I had one of them. And I sold it because of the kids |

Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850! |

The article is bollocks in that makers claim its a form of battery. The makers are full of it as well as the description of the performance of the battery doesn't sound likely at all... Now for something really amazing .... http://www.theregister.co.uk/2014/08...mars_in_weeks/ |

Very interesting!
If you like that you're gonna love this, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFeqT4oQCdM (the laser power source stays on the ground so it would be a sling-into-orbit system only) |

I do wonder, why not get a chunk of metal, put in a set of slide rails with two electro magnets, one at each end. Slowly pull the chunk of metal to it's full extent. Then wack on the electro magnet and let it clang into the other end. ... Instant go ... Last edited by Stevie; 8th August 2014 at 01:52 PM. |
