They tend to range between £3000 - £4500. A big variation, I know.

D3 is a specialist car, not many round so dare I say not much demand for parts.
The only things worth anything would be the engine, gearbox and suspension struts, and you'd have to budget on these taking some considerable time to sell. The electronic gubbins could sell but a lot of it is subject to component protection, so useless without a dealer visit to pay them to remove it. Plus you'd not be able to advertise on here, so you'll be restricted in marketplace and having to sell via ebay along with all the competiton.

Don't know the answer in detail, but I'd say it'll be less than that. Once you've taken the engine, gearbox and alloys out, there's probably not much else worth much.

Gearbox and engine might be big bits but it will be hard to shift them as demand is very low. Money will depend greatly from the condition of parts. Bumpers, body panels, interior, lights should sell reasonably well and bring in money depending on condition. Suspension parts, electrical bits and retrofit extras should sell as well.

Thanks for the responses so far guys!
![]() She'll have to go at some point though, as I've pulled the trigger on a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Double Cab 5.7 Hemi King Ranch edition. Once she arrives from NA, I won't really have the need for the A8. I've got the A4 Quattro and my Toyota Hilux 4x4 single cab, so keeping the A8 AND keeping her insured isn't financially viable. The Ram is being shipped via Baltimore.

I apologise for posing this question, it would appear car breaking questions are a sensitive issue, regardless of how innocent the queries are.

They're sensitive, but this isn't advertising the actual breaking of the car, just asking whether it was worth the hassle/cost, so I'd see it as a completely different issue.
