Ordered a new thermostat and rubber seal - should be here on Thursday. Having fun with the fan though - I cheated last time and managed to get a socket in near the fan so I could remove the whole engine stabiliser arm! Socket won;t work this time and I cannot undo the bolt (I know it undoes clockwise...).
