Default Best place for 20" wheel refurb in NorthWest?

I've had quite a few sets of wheels refurbed over the years, but I can honestly say I've never been 100% happy with any refurb. The last few sets have been done by WRC in Preston, and Rhino near Southport. I've had issues with them all!

My S8 needs it's wheels refurbed and I think the condition of the car justifies the best refurb possible, so can anyone recommend a refurb centre somewhere around the NorthWest area?

Thanks in advance.

http://www.lepsons.com/

Last time I used them for my D2 20" FE wheels their price inc collection and delivery, and removing refitting tyres, balancing etc Not cheap, but absolutely perfect OEM finish, which on those wheels is quite a few processes.

Thanks but if I go with Lepsons it means I have to get a courier to ship the wheels. This means extra cost, extra delay, and the risk of the wheels being damaged in transit. I'd prefer somewhere in the NorthWest. In saying that, I haven't seen anything negative about Lepsons, so I may just end up biting the bullet and go with them.

As I said, their service inc 'free' courier delivery, which I was nervous about, but shouldn't have been as they were received back in perfect condition.

They had even marked the tyre next to the valve so it went back on it the same place, nice little touch I thought.

OOPS. I missed that! Free courier eh! If it's a courier Lepsons use all the time then I guess they will be reliable. Thanks for that.

No worries, I guess the biggest pain using a courier service over hand delivering locally, is having to package them up. I cut several big discs of thick cardboard to cover the faces, and then wrapped in a plastic sheet, with lots of tape! Did only send one wheel though.

One other thing to bear in mind, if the wheels are to be 'diamond cut', is the process obviously removes material off the face during the machining operation. This means your centre caps may not fit as well and / or protrude slightly. Was amplified on mine as they had already been refurbed once already.

I've used Pristine in Milton Keynes (twice) - they'll diamond cut 20" FE wheels, and I get them picked up and delivered back to my local Kwikfit, no additional courier costs.

But 20" FE wheels are painted from the factory? I'm going to stick with what it looked like originally.

Nope, the face is diamond cut & lacquered, sides of spokes are painted silver.
