They should polish up easily enough, post a couple of pictures and I'll let you know my thoughts
This was the rear high vis brake light on my Range Rover before I started cleaning it up, no trick photography, no cheating, it really looked this bad  This was a half & half with a strip of masking tape to stop any cheating and show the difference  Finally finished
