Sorry I did not make it, looking at the picture above one thing seems apparent to the previous one I went to. 2 years ago the attendance was mostly D2's, and now it looks like mostly D3's.

I did pop over to your stand a couple of times, full of cars but nobody around! I had a great day, ended up taking the S8 in the track which was an eye opener, it was a lot more nimble than I thought it would be! What happened to the W12? Looked like a plume of smoke or steam from a distance, I hope nobody was hurt?!

Yeah, most people spent the day wandering around

I noticed as well that it was mainly D3s this year - not helped by mine being MIA

Watched Mikey's going round and it was really composed

The W12 popped a coolant hose off done the offside front - Marchin was on the case sorting it for Darren, but it did appear to lose a LOT of coolant.

Am sure Darren will come on at some point to confirm they got home OK - it took about 12 litres of water to refill it, apparently

Choo choo!

What was a very fun ride with Darren ended rather abruptly, though with no lasting damage.

We had another go at repairing the car last night back at the hotel as it lost 2 litres of water in the 25 miles back to their from the circuit. A couple of sweary moments and I think I had it sealed up, A 10 mile test drive showed it to be water tight, I just hope it lasted the 200 miles back to Bradford.

Great to see you all yesterday. I think we need to sort out a run to the Nordschleife in the new year going by the conversation yesterday.

Afternoon everyone

Time for my review.
First of all HUGE THANK YOU to Neil for making this happen and arranging the stand, it's hugely appreciated not only by me, but I believe by everyone who attended.
I was very very gutted for you mate, very gutted and your presence was missed by everyone. I was looking forward to catching up with you, but maybe next time.
You did looked smart tho in the morning at the hotel Man in black, both, car and suite

Hopefully there will be another meet before the Christmas when we can meet and catch up.

So the journey for me and my other half was pretty smooth, if not the bloody rain on the way there. We woke up @4am, left at @5am and arrived @7:40am (breakfast). We left Bolingbroke Arms just after 8:30am and after half an hour of being lead my Adrian in his wife S5 we have finally arrived at the event in a convoy.

Recent six days of cleaning the car paid off by keeping most of the dirt of the car, especially rain on the way, but when we arrived at the stand and going straight for a walk around, I couldn't stand the thoughts of car being on the stand not perfectly clean, so I ditched everyone to go back and clean it

It was nice to see some of the forum members again, Oli, Darren and Mandy, Reffro, Notorius, Goran, Tony, Roberto, Adrian and meet new faces, Texas, David with May and Yas.

Couple of stand photos.

Then we went off to watch Private Jet flying on the circuit (no joke, with closed eyes it sounded like a jet flying by really low, video links below)

After that there was a little moment of all team helping one unfortunate Jet Pilot Below me and my Assistant taking the whole airbox out in order to access a very tricky water temp sensor and piece of coolant pipe. It actually was more the engine temp than an access, but after an hour we did it.
From the Reffro's feedback I understand there was further leak, but it was all sorted by him

Then this V8 Cessna showed up on the track

Wheels from looking really shiny and tyres looking good turned to this

The RS6s and R8s sounded just awesome on the track, same as few RS4s with moded exhausts.
Overall the track day makes the event really interesting if you are into racing and watching it from the sides and also from the driver's seat

I really enjoyed it and was even more pleased as car was still looking nice and clean on the way back

Yours sounds brilliant Marcin, looks a bit dirty though

Looks like the weather was kind for the track laps too
