Delta head unit info needed
Does this need a radio code , I don't have a manual or original service book and need to disconnect the radio to diagnose fault cd changer and install a parrot mki9200

Almost certainly. Various online services offer to get it for you for a fee, or try an Audi dealer if it was the original fitted to the car.
Often people write the code onto one of the labels on the unit, so try sliding it out (still connected) and have a look.

Agate Grey/Platinum. Every option (I think) except electric rear seats, Tiptronic steering wheel, ski hatch, towbar & dimming door mirrors. e.g. Cruise control, NavPlus/TV, Bose, GSM, Xenons, Solar roof, Parking sensors, Alcantara/leather everywhere of course.  (internal dimming mirror added later)1998 (very early) Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec; ABS/TCS, Heated screen/mirrors, Aircon. Added Auto-dim mirror, Leather seats, Trip computer, Cruise control, OEM Ford SatNav with CD changer. And before that a lot of Rover 800s, a few oddities, a lovely Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with Overdrive and way back in my schooldays an Austin Seven aka Mini 850!

Or in the insude front cover of the manual. And, a few times, I've seen the sticker placed on the underside of the ash tray

You should be able to sort the CD changer and fit the parrot kit without disconnecting the power connection on the back of the headunit. The power connection is completely separate from the speaker connection and the CD changer connection.

when i slid out the unit this morning i noticed red pained " no code " on it so took a chance and sure enough its still fine , seems its not the factory fitment which might explain radio and cd changer not working
anyway all fitted but need to get patch lead to get rear speakers working on parrot .
