Having fitted the Radio Module to the Back of the dash panel (D2 Pre FL) I simply left it and thought I would try and sort it later...
For some reason having no fiddled with the car at all for the last couple of months... and when I got in it Sunday night was display the time (+1 plus) and also the ant symbol... whaooo.... great.... HOWEVER I cannot adjust the clock to mins one hour.... well not with the buttons unless there is a trick? So unless it can be edited by logging in.... but then If I have to do this everytime..... I probably worse off than I was before... ;-/ Any help or suggestions.... Thanks Daz |

Not sure how you do it PF, is it not in the drivers manual?
On FL it's the DIS menu controlled via the button/knob in the cupholder tray near the handbrake (never did get that!), which obviously isn't there PF. If it's via VCDS, so be it, you only have to do it once after all and it's set. Where exactly is your receiver?

On FL it is done via the same clock menu. You can only add/subtract hours in the radio controlled clock mode in the clock menu. You can't change minutes or date in this mode. Only hours. I'm sure the + and the - buttons on the cluster will do the same. Perhaps you need to long press them... I never tried though... You're probably the first one in the UK who has fitted it to the PF A8. You need to blaze the trail to understand how to shift it one hour. Good luck ![]() ![]()

There is no coding for radio controlled clock mentioned in ElsaWin and nothing about adjusting radio controlled clock in users manual I guess you have already tried the usual way of holding down both HR and MIN buttons pressed down at the same time for 2- 3 seconds like you do when normally adjusting clock?

OK, put mine in today and placed the receiver in the same spot as HPsauce. But I can't seem to get the hang of the VCDS coding (first time I've tried doing anything other than a scan. Where do I find 'channel 19'?

(I think that's in instruments) VAGCOM / VCDS changes go to module 17, adaption 10, channel 19: xxxx0 = disabled radio controlled clock xxxx1 = enabled radio controlled clock so change the last number to 1.
