 It never ceases to amaze me how easy it seems to be to break into what seem to be very secure cars - I managed to lock my keys in the boot of a Honda Accord once when I shut the boot to lay a drawing out on it and the car decided it had better lock everything! The RAC man got in in under 5 minutes easily with his tools and I've never kept anything valuable in a car since! I had a Peugeot 406 once and thieves broke in at a hotel car park in leicester by drilling a small hole about the size of a 5 pence to the left of the lock and thereby triggering the whole central locking mechanism open. They then stole a laptop out of the boot where I thought it was secure and out of sight.
