I remember someone talking about a SMS activated relay to start the heater.
http://www.quantek.co.uk/GSM%20Remote%20Control.html May be a cheaper alternative to the remote. Mmmm all this heater talk has me thinking if it would be worth it on the S8

You can get the 20mm coolant hose coupler from an aquatic/pond supplier and use the Audi Spring clips.

I was working on a Range Rover over the weekend and noticed that the Aux heater was the same as ours and it comes with the recirculating pump that we want/need.
Its a 57 plate. Not sure if it will help us in locating a pump.

Thats interesting i have all of that apart from the wabasto heater.. when i go in the shops i can leave it on a 15 min timer and the pump circulates the coolant keeping the car warm inside but only works if the engine is warm. The only pre heating i have is via the electric Quad zone again all done on times in the mmi menu ..
I wander if there was an electric version for cold climates that had a petrol model ?
