Default Place your bets, will it or won't it?

Well I'm currently sat in the lounge at Bangkok waiting for my flight back home.

I left the UK in November last year for work and have not returned home since then so not seen the 8 since then.

She was last out with the wife on the 10th of December before being neglected when myself and the wife took of to Malta then Thailand until today.

So the burning question is will she or won't she start?

She's never been left alone for so long so I honestly have no idea what to expect.

I certainly hope she's fine because I will only have 1 day at home before heading to Norway for a month.

It ain't gonna start if it's not had a battery conditioner on it - there, I've said it

It will of course start perfectly as a result

If you'd left a boggo Kia or the like all that time you'd expect the thing to start, and it would too.

The Audi should be no different, in fact I expect more from my cars given the luxury status and price tag they command.

Let us know how you got on.

I'm in Egypt!right now, so won't have driven my '8 for over a week by the time I get home. Not had the car long, but I know the battery is in a good state, and I'll be counting on it starting at 7am after we fly back, 5.5 hr flight and little sleep. So it better b##### had!

I like you guys optimism 😄

I will indeed let you know how it goes, I'm in Doha at the mo waiting for the flight to London then quick blast up the road and I will be home

I will be joining the vessel in Bergen Jan and then off to the wonderful North Sea to assist in pipeline installation for Statoil.

Got to endure and ensure the steady supply of dead dinosaurs to keep our cars running and houses warm.

I'll keep you in mind should there be a next time Matt 😄

If the car has been left with the doors locked then the alarm will drain the battery and even if it does start it will throw up plenty errors on the ECUs because of low voltage. Hope you have VCDS to clear them.
