Or.. update to 5570 as there will be no more updates.
Pull out the changer and slot the AMI in there.. let's you keep the little cubby in the glovebox too. It's what I did with my 2 D3's.

I am going to retain the changer, why I hear you ask. I still buy a lot of CDs when out shopping, and if I am out on the road will buy the odd one when I feel like a change. Wihout the changer I'd have no way of playing it.
I don't intent to use the AMI with an iPhone or IPod, it will have a USB HDD plugged in with the music ripped at a decent bit rate, not sure if the AMI can play FLAC encoded files which most of my music collection is.

I am now waiting for the kit to be delivered (no its not the one sold by Ian), I was hopeful it was going to make it for the weekend but that now looks unlikely.
I'll check the loom, but if the loop to pin 4 is missing, I'll need to try and source the pin and short length of wire locally.

...if there is no 4th pin, what I will need you to do is to measure the length of the whole wire from pin 1 to wherever it goes. I will make new wire with the pin 4 crimped to one end on the pin 1. I will send you extracting tool (which I will need back) unless you want a link to have your own, along with the wire.
So all you will need to do is extract both ends and plug the new wire in.
