Ah, they don't take bookings. So we'll have to hope we can get in OK. We could, I suppose, go in and ask for a table and, if there's a long wait, we can go and get a coffee at my office 50 yards away! I'll also have a hunt for a plan B.

Sounds good to me.

Not had a great week so far. Was in hospital Monday and yesterday with a spontaneous pneumothorax (ruptured lung) and problem with my aorta artery valve. Fifth time it's happened. I mentioned that I'm due to fly up to Scotland this Sunday, but after a bit of a discussion about the complications they assured me that a 1hr flight up to Scotland will be fine, but flying long haul is out of the question.

So I'll see you Sunday!

Jeez Ollie, hope you get well soon. Have you asked the forum sponsor about spares for your main pump and air filter?

Well, Ollie bought Dave's S8 and off we trotted to Robroyston.
The weather was 'chnageable' and the wind could have come from Siberia, but we had a large car park to ourselves and the pub lunch was not bad at all.
Talked a load of car bollox and then headed home (well, Brian, Connor and friend headed to Maclaren to look a lottery win cars!)
Ollie & Sean have a 500 mile trip ahead of them - hope it goes well guys!

Some iPhone photos attached (I'm sure there will be better ones soon!)

Thanks for welcoming me guys.

Had a good but long drive back. Averaged 26.5mpg over the 450 miles back down to Essex which I'd call acceptable
