Hello richardracer, understand. With the engine out is very easy to do it. In normal conditions to get out the pan it has a lot of work. A lot of hours to get out all the mechanical things put down the pan. It is not viable.

Any one of yours has do it geting out the pan in a S8 ?. The idea of drain and refill without touching the pan what is your opinión ?

Regards

EISENMANN

LG8 and update done today at Mackies.

Initial impressions are that the box is slurring a lot more but it's still adapting to the the new oil (no chance of doing a proper adaptation drive in rush hour traffic from Weegie) but the on demand/higher load changes feel much nicer. No nasties found in the old oil which is good news.

Not done any 'from cold' drives in it yet

And the thumbs up from 'er indoors' today as well!

I drove it from cold this afternoon and neutral to first was much quicker and the torque exchanger felt much smoother when it was engaging.

Worth it!
